Cursed Films  (2020)

(Release Date: August 18, 2020) – CURSED FILMS, a Shudder Original series from writer-director Jay Cheel, has made its way to Blu-ray. This is a fantastic set I couldn't stop watching after I started, a far-from-exploitative documentary series thoughtfully exploring the tragedies, eerie coincidences, and infamous cinema lore of five classic films (POLTERGEIST, THE OMEN, THE EXORCIST, THE CROW, and TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE) that have been branded cursed. Excellent audio commentaries on all five episodes from Cheel round out the disc. A second season was recently announced, and I absolutely cannot wait.
